- (3 Cups) Celery - chopped with leaves
- (1 1/2 Cups) Onion - chopped
- (1 1/2 Cups) Butter
- (18 Cups) Bread Cubes
- (2 tsp) Salt
- (1 tsp) Garlic Powder
- (1 tsp) Poultry Seasoning
- (1 tsp) Onion Salt
- (1 tsp) Celery Salt
- (1 tsp) Ground Sage
- (1 tsp) Dried Thyme Leaves
- (1/2 tsp) Ground Black Pepper
Saute chopped celery and onion in the butter until celery softens a bit.
Add seasoning and spices to celery, onion butter mixture.
Pour butter seasoning mixture over bread cubes in large bowl and mix well.
Stuff turkey loosely and roast, do not stuff turkey night before, stuff right before roasting.
You can cook all of stuffing in aluminum foil packet at 350 for 30 minutes or until warm.
Or you can stuff turkey and save some stuffing for aluminum foil packet and do both.
Makes enough for 18LB Turkey
Typically a large loaf of bread makes the correct amount.
