Indirect heat is the secret to this super easy preparation for an amazing grilled steak that allows the STEAK to SPEAK. Serve with a fork and knife. No other side dish will stand a chance.
Maybe a garden salad and crusty break to mop up the steak juice...

Directions
INGREDIENTS:
*Your choice of variety of TVF 100% grass-fed beef steak
*salt/pepper
*One pat of butter per steak
DIRECTIONS:
- Allow steaks to thaw in your refrigerator (this might take up to 24 hours depending on your fridge)
- Remove steak from refrigerator and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper and allow to sit at room temperature for 3-4 hours (no need to cover it)
- When steaks are ready, get grill nice and hot.
- Quickly sear steaks on each side for 90 seconds
- Finish steak with indirect heat. Turn off the burner underneath the steaks but leave remaining burners on. Keep the lid on the grill and allow steaks to come to an internal temp of 125 degrees for medium rare. (This takes about 8-10 minutes depending on how hot the grill is.) For the absolute best results, I recommend investing in a meat thermometer if you don't already have one. Never ruin a steak again!
- Add pat of butter to each steak and allow to melt before removing steaks from grill
- Cover with aluminum foil and allow to rest 5-10 minutes before serving (Do not skip this step. Your patience will be rewarded).
- Savor every bite!
